About the Competition

Career Immersion & Leadership Institute's Regional Business Case Competition brings together students from colleges and universities across Louisiana to tackle a real business challenge for a local organization.

Student teams work with a faculty sponsor, receive professional coaching, and present their recommendations at Pitch Night, with support from corporate sponsors invested in developing the next generation of business talent.

Competition Details

Student teams from regional colleges and universities compete to deliver real-world solutions to a local organization.
Each student team must have a faculty sponsor to participate.
A local New Orleans organization with a real business challenge is selected for the competition.
Teams attend a briefing session to meet representatives from the selected organization and ask questions.
Students have four weeks to develop a strategic plan with support from a professional coach.
Teams present their recommendations during Pitch Night in November 2026.
A panel of business leaders and representatives from the selected organization judge the presentations.
